Over the life of the project we have been publishing videos on our YouTube channel. There is now quite an archive with videos that are useful, inspirational, beautiful and insightful.

A great starting point if you want to know more about the work of Life of Breath is this recording of a live event in 2019 which features many of our lead researchers.

Our most recent playlist is a series of follow-along ‘Dance Easy’ sessions which encourage people who experience breathlessness to keep moving through dance. You can find out more about this project here

You will also find a Catch Your Breath playlist of videos which featured in or feature our exhibition. The highlight is Still/Breathing by Matt James Smith, a moving portrayal of lived experiences of breathlessness.

It also includes video tour of the Durham exhibition with pupils from Coxhoe Primary School .

A final video to mention is our most-watched film to date – Durham team member, Professor David Fuller discussing Breath in Poetry, reading from Charles Olsen’s ‘Projective Verse’ and Walt Whitman’s ‘Song of Myself’.

These videos and many more are all available to everyone via our YouTube Channel
