OBE for Life of Breath team member

We are thrilled to share the news that one of our project team, Prof Gene Feder, has been awarded an OBE in the New Year Honours. Gene is Professor of Primary Care at the University of Bristol and a GP.

His research has focused on the management of chronic conditions, particularly respiratory and cardiovascular disease, and the health care response to domestic violence and abuse. He recently contributed to a particularly well-received session on domestic violence at the Feel It Festival. The reflections on the festival session here will give a sense of Gene’s fantastic work.
